Join us at our first meeting of the year on Thursday, Jan. 9, to learn about pruning fruit trees. PFC member Alan Lowe will be presenting. We meet at the Sheridan Park Community Center, 680 Lebo Blvd., Bremerton. Doors open at 6:40 pm for social time, and the meeting starts at 7. Meetings are free and open to the public.
If you’re puzzled about pruning, come to Peninsula Fruit Club’s pruning workshop on older trees at Steve Butler’s orchard at 3414 137th Street NW, Gig Harbor on Saturday, February 5 from 10 am to 2 pm.
