The Fall Fruit Show is back!
2021 Fall Fruit Show presented by Peninsula Fruit Club, a chapter of Western Cascade Fruit Society. Come join us for a fun day of fruit tasting and learning about growing fruit. Get your mystery apples identified—bring 4-6 samples of each kind, don’t wash them, leave the stems on, tell us about the tree. Sample from hundreds of different varieties of apples, pears, and other fruit. Take in a video or browse our information tables. Learn about pests, diseases, and mason bees. Shop the plant sale. Stock up on supplies for next year. Bring your questions, and ask our experts. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
Peninsula Fruit Club will host the 2012 Fall Fruit Show on Saturday, October 20, in the Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free, but we would appreciate a donation. We will have videos on anthracnose, pruning grapes, and mason bees. There will be trees for sale as well as grafting and growing supplies. Last year there were 165 different cultivars of apples on display out of a total of over 200 different cultivars of fruit. Bring your unknown apples to have them identified. Lori Brakken will be there and have the apple ID program running. Join us for a fun day of tasting fruit and learning about growing fruit in this area.
