    Please join South Sound Fruit Society to welcome our speaker, Marisha Auerbach, who will talk about practicing permaculture and creating food forests   in the Pacific Northwest.  

Marisha Auerbach is an internationally recognized permaculture educator, designer, and speaker based in Olympia, WA.  Marisha has lived and practiced permaculture in both urban and rural environments.  As an avid gardener and herbalist, Marisha specializes in food production, ecology, and useful plants.  Marisha believes that it is possible to respond to the current environmental challenges, lower our ecological footprint, and continue to live equally delightful lives through permaculture design. She is active with Fertile Ground and Permaculture Rising, and currently teaches permaculture online through Oregon State University.

PFC March 9 – Grafting with Mike Geiser

Join us on Thursday, March 9, and learn how to graft. Bring some sticks to practice on. We will have grafting knives available. Mike Geiser will give a brief presentation on grafting, and then there will be hands-on practice. Social time starts at 6:40 pm. Meeting starts at 7 pm at the Sheridan Park Community Center, 680 Lebo Blvd., Bremerton.
