City Fruit is a Seattle non-profit that promotes the cultivation of urban fruit in order to nourish people, build community, and protect the climate. They promote the sharing of extra fruit, provide assistance in cooking and preserving the fruit, and protect the health and vitality of the trees. Each year, they harvest tens of thousands of pounds of fruit, sharing the vast majority of it with more than 50 food banks and community partners, across the city.
