Seattle Tree Fruit Society
STFS primarily serves Seattle and King and Snohomish Counties although anyone is welcome to join. We publish an interesting monthly newsletter — the Urban Scion Post. Our meetings, open to the public, are usually held in the morning on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September through May. In March we put on our Spring Fruit & Grafting Show while in the fall we celebrate the harvest with our Fall Fruit Show which includes fruit tasting. South Sound Fruit Society
South Sound Fruit Society meetings are on the 1st Tues. of each month at 7:00 at 2712 Lewis, Evergreen Farmhouse. Direction Hwy. 101 take the Evergreen College Exit north toward the college for about a mile,,turn left on 17th Ave. for 1/2 mile,,,turn right on to Simmons, for 1/2 mile,,,turn right onto Lewis Rd. go a couple hundred yards to the Evergreen Organic Farm sign. The Farm house is the last building at the end of the driveway up the hill. The setting is wooded and rustic.
