Peninsula Fruit Club will host the Fall Fruit Show this Saturday, October 15^th, from 11 am to 5 pm at the Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale.  Come and taste fruit we have grown locally.  Take in a lecture or video about mason bees, espaliers, anthracnose, or apple maggot and codling moth.  Learn about the new online apple identification program.  Browse our displays, and stock up on supplies for next year.  Come and enjoy the fruits of our labors.  See you there!

Peninsula Fruit Club’s next meeting will not be on the regular day.  The meeting will be on WEDNESDAY, October 12^th at 7 pm at the Sheridan Community Center, 680 Lebo Blvd. and Clare Ave., Bremerton.  We will be taking apart mason bee houses and examining the contents under a microscope.  We will also watch a short video or two about cleaning mason bee cocoons and talk about storage options.
