If you’re puzzled about pruning, come to Peninsula Fruit Club’s pruning workshop on older trees at Steve Butler’s orchard at 3414   137th Street NW, Gig Harbor on Saturday, February 5 from 10 am to 2 pm.  Bring pruning tools, and be prepared to learn something about how, where, and why to prune fruit trees and get some hands-on practice.  Steve offered to provide cider and burgers and trimmings for everyone, so please RSVP to 253-241-9593 if you plan to come.  He will also provide a tent in case it really rains, but we all know that never happens here!
