The Western Washington Fruit Research Foundation is holding its Sample The Cherry Harvest Event on July 10th 2010. Registration begins at 10:40 AM. From 11:00 to 11:30 Hollis Spitler will talk about the *Spotted Wing Fruit Fly* that is invading our area (attacking cherries, blueberries, and raspberries) and will demonstrate how to make a homemade trap for them.
